  • One of Clarkston's early settlers. A cooper & wagon maker with a shop,1855-1860 on the site of 41 Buffalo. He then moved to a site on N. Main St. north of the stream to Park/Parke's Lake, (seen on the 1872 map) until 1874, after his death. As a residence, tax records seem to indicate Millard built the house at 25 Buffalo in 1854/55. This house became the Methodist Church parsonage. In 1863 he moved to a house at 51 E. Washington. See 1872 map.
