The Barrys are credited with the initial ownership of the Deer Lake Inn, which opened 7/3/1912. They previously owned/operated the Mountain View Inn on Maceday Lake, Waterford, Mi. They sold the building in 1925. The three, for a time, also ran the Caribou Inn on the northwest corner of W. Washington & N. Main St. Residence 71 N. Main.
